Penrose Tennyson (1912-1941) b. London, England.

Penrose ‘Pen’ Tennyson worked in the film industry always with Michael Balcon: at Gaumont-British (assistant to Alfred Hitchcock), then MGM, then Ealing. After three films as director, he was called up during WW2, shot some instructional shorts, and died in an air crash in 1941.
