Sergei Nolbandov (1956-1971) b. Russia.

Sergei Nolbandov moved from Russia to England in early 1920′s. Silent film editor; associated with Michael Balcon at G-B; moved with him to Ealing and worked closely with Penrose Tennyson as writer and producer. After Tennyson’s death, directed two films himself, then left in 1943 to produce government shorts, and subsequently the documentary series This Modern Age for Rank (1946-49). Returned to feature films as producer; The Kidnappers (1953).
