    I'm trying to track down a BBC adaptation of Ira Levins thriller A KISS BEFORE DYING (Not the 1956 Gerd Oswald movie or the subsequent movie remake - but made for the TV in the 50's or 60's) - possibly adapted by Terry Nation, but most definitely directed by Peter Sasdy. No IMDB references for either on this project, and Google doesn't throw anything up.

    Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Cheers

    Stephen,

    Just some information which might help you;

    'A Kiss Before Dying' was screened by the BBC as an episode of 'Star Parade' on 8Th May 1964, It was directed by Peter Sasdy.

    Sasdy also directed other episodes of 'Star Parade', which were 'Caves Of Steel' (05/06/64) and 'The World That Summer' (22/04/65)

    Maybe with this information you can find out more (From the BBC?)

    Steve,

    As a addition to my last note;

    Also for your notes is that Jane Merrow, later 'Alison/No, 24' in 'The Prisoner' Episode 'The Schizoid Man' was in the episode of 'Star Parade' called 'The World That Summer' in which she played 'Erika Hacker' it was shown on BBC2.

    Steve,

    Also of interest to you is this;

    BBC Document Archive, Written Archive Centre, Caversham Park, Reading, Berkshire RG 8TZ If you send an SAE to them, they may be able to send you a (free) photocopy of any 'Radio Times' pieces on 'Star Parade' or 'A Kiss Before Dying'

    It's 'Story Parade' not 'Star Parade'
