I'm going mad trying to track down anyone who may remember this TV film and it's been annoying me for years !

Diana Dors starred as a witch who collected the souls of children and stored them in a wooden chest. At the end of the film the wooden chest falls from the top of the stairs and breaks open on the floor revealing all the souls.

I watched this film when I was a child and it scared me to death ! I also remember watching an interview with Diana Dors at the same time where she confessed that the mole on her face which was used in the film was a Rice Krispie !

I tried the Diana Dors Fan Club page but to no avail.......I'm starting to doubt whether it was even Dinan Dors ?

    Any help would be appreciated.

I may be wrong, but I think it's an episode of "Thriller", the Brian Clemens TV series in the 70s. It was called Pandora's Box. And her wart was a rice crispie, according to the TV Times. Scared me too.

As mentioned it's the Thriller episode Nurse will make it better:

IMDB lists it as The Devil's Web:

    "Thriller" The Devil's Web (1975)

It is available. as it's a ATV/ITC series it's been released by Network on 15 discs 'Nurse Will Make It Better' is on disc 9.

It's 'THRILLER - THE COMPLETE SERIES' NETWORK 7952278

The other title on IMDB (The Devil's Web) was when ITC/ATV padded them out and then sold them to USTV as TV Movies, some episodes were later repeated on UKTV under their US Titles.

I think that Network has started to bring them out in individual Volumes 1-4.

So the Dors one should be in Volume 3.

Far better off getting the complete series, which has such famous guests as Robert Powell, Denholm Elliott and Carol Lynley, with Pamela Franklin and Michael Jayston appearing twice each. On a personal note, this series intoduced me to such cult actors as Alethea Charlton, Katherine Schofield and Gary Watson, who've since provided me with many happy times in other shows.

The episode I'm the Girl He Wants to Kill was also recently identified (by yours truly!) at another thread, so it is clear that the often spooky goings-on leave a long-lasting impression. Memorable TV for sure
