    Hi,

This was a 70s/80s (?) documentary (or extreme naturalistic portrayal) about a odd family of 'yokels'. I think there was a father, son and daughter. They were all a little backward, especially the daughter, who acted very clumsily flirty I seem to remember. I remember a fragment of dialogue which went something like 'It's not like you'd take down the moon and roll him in the gutter'.

I remember (oh god, how vaguely) watching this with a housemate and laughing over it, until a final scene where the family drive a traction engine (or just a van, maybe) through a town which he swore was familiar, until they went over a bridge and he collapsed laughing, saying it was his hometown of Horsham (Amersham? Chesham? Little Biggleswick? [No, not that last one, but I am that vague]).

I like to give you the easy ones.

    Thanks,

    Frank

    Oh. My. Word. That's it!

You sir, are a genius. I saw a 'Thanks' thing. Can I do that to you? And how do we get this as Answered?

Thanks again. I'm so pleased to have this answered. :-)

Crikey! I came on here to ask the very same question

I remember watching it on tv, late 80's or early 90's. It was on in the very early hours one morning and It completely fascinated me.

    Very good television.
