I'm pretty sure I saw this on TCM's schedule for tomorrow but when I went to check, it was not there. Are they switching films again? This is for TCM USA

That sure is a great movie. The first movie with an evil ventriloquist's dummy. Some movie books give the credit to The Great Gabbo, but the dummy in that one doesn't have a life of his own. Only his operator, played by Erich von Stroheim, is off his rocker. The best scene in that otherwise mediocre movie is where Gabbo slaps the dummy hard, then apologizes to it and starts sobbing.

It is a great movie, I saw it along time ago and planned on taping it. Oh well, maybe next time they'll actually show it.
