BBC 4 have shown ITV material before now (The Naked Civil Servant, for example, IIRC) - but admittedly it would be more expensive for them.
It's a pity ITV's excellent back catalogue doesn't have a similar venue for occassional airing.
Yes indeed, ITV3 and ITV4 need to widen their range...
