    The Gorgon

    Taste of Fear

The Two Faces of Dr Jekyll

I wonder if Taste of Fear will bear that title or the US one. I also wonder if The Gorgon will use a British print, which bills Peter Cushing over Christopher Lee.

I suppose they will use the same prints as seen in the recent U.S. 'Icons of...' release.

Wouldn't they have to use 'Taste' rather than 'Scream' to match the artwork?

You would think so, but cf. The Blood Beast Terror DVD cover with the film on the disc (The Vampire Beast Craves Blood or something like that)!

Even the BBC only has the Scream of Fear print these days. The original British prints of many of these films seem to have been lost forever. If they actually has the UK print I'd be interested to know.

Plague of the Zombies is another one (not a Sony release) where we have the US print in which the opening credits are in the wrong place.

Mind you, the Two Faces print should be the exception as Sony released the British print on DVD in the US with the original dubbing.

I have that NTSC "Icons of Horror" set. The title on both the sleeve art and on the film itself is "Scream of Fear" so if in fact they are using the same print it'll be "Scream" and not "Taste".

The print on the Icons of Horror set appeared slightly tinted green to me at times, like one of the process colours was up just a notch too far.
