    dir. Agust Guomundsson

adapted from the novels by Jon Svensson (1857-1944)

    Nammi.is, Icelandic products sent worldwide

Thanks to a 20% discount, the triple-DVD (six hours) of this highly-regarded drama series for children (but enjoyed by the whole family) is more affordable:

    sale price: 20-86p plus airmail 11-46p = 32-32p

The lengthy wait has an advantage - an earlier DVD did not have subtitles.

The new DVD has audio choice of Icelandic/German/English plus equivalent subtitles.

Since the thread started, the DVD has arrived from Nammi.is - without subtitles.

The error arose from the rival Nordic Store website which said the DVD does have them.

Fortunately, the dubbing, in both English and German, is excellent.

Otherwise, I would have preferred Icelandic plus English subtitles.
