I think he can be charged for " Improper conduct " billy . I don't know whether there is more unnaceptable behavior these days ,or whether we just see more because of everything being scrutinised by the media (plus the number of cameras on the players all the time )

Do two wrongs make a right ? not sure what that's got to do with Wengers behaviour and attitude

What it has to do with Wenger's behaviour is that for many years Ferguson has ranted against referees and other teams yet no one accuses him of being a bad loser or being unfair. I would like to make it clear that I'm an Arsenal fan not a Wenger fan, you can slag him off as much you like but it's a pity that the criticisms are always the very predictable cliched ones.

You're probably right smiffy, but that still doesn't make that kind of decision any more sensible. I sometimes think that time-keeping should be taken away from the ref and that there should be a time-keeper in the stand like in grid-iron football.

Again , I fail to see whatever alex ferguson has done has anything to do with Wenger being a bad loser ( and winner for that matter )
The only predictable and cliched responces seem to be coming from the usual suspects ,don't try to make other people the villains to excuse your own behaviour

I do! And I think on these boards one or two others have as well. Ferguson and Wenger are the kings of bad losers. Although MOTD2 showed a montage of managerial touchline spats last night and Wenger was the most featured manager!

i regularly accuse fergie of being unfair but i've heard him give the opposing side credit on many occasions-even liverpool!! when you say you're not a wenger fan are you saying you're an arsenal fan first and foremost or are you unhappy with his performance of late? i personally don't understand his reluctance to shell out on a top class holding midfielder and goalkeeper but apart from that his coaching is of a high level.

That probably means they have some substance - to those on the outside looking in.

Had a Liverpool player done an 'Eboue' I bet Arsene would have been apoplectic had they not got a pen. (see them all scream for a pen when Kuyt got hit in the chest from close-range). And if you don't want the ref adding more ET maybe RVP shouldn't have taken his shirt off and ran behind the goal?

The old Arsenal were more professional, and whilst Wenger's side look good going forward they've always looked comical at the back since Adams, Dixon & co retired.

I like the idea of an "off field" timekeeper, stop the clock when game stops and restart at ref's whistle. Who could possibly object to that ? Don't all rush at once !

Eboue bundled Lucas over and it was a definite penalty, regardless of whether he meant to do it or not. Wenger's coaching skills have never been in doubt, but his reluctance to acknowledge that the team requires a few more top class players is baffling. The new young goalkeeper (Sczsezny?) looks like he may fit the bill but they need a decent back up. The central defending is woeful at times and in midfield they need someone with a bit more grit than they have now. They also need a really good centre forward.

My lot also need a good shake up ...... out of the current squad the only essential players IMHO are JT, Alex, Cashley, Essien, Lumplard, Malouda, Drogba, Anelka, Luiz, Ivanovic and Mceachran.

I'm saying that I am an Arsenal fan, AW has brought a lot of success to the club but we were successful before he arrived and we will be successful after he has gone. I have been unhappy with many of his policies for quite a few years.

are chelsea fans getting a bit fed up with the helmet in goal then? he hasn't seemed the same 'keeper since his head injury and it wouldn't surprise me if o'bramovitch signed reina in the summer since utd seem to be going for de gea and arsenal seem to be sticking with the promising sceznthingymebobsy! reina had his usual flappy arsenal day yesterday!

I said at the start of the season Cech has declined a bit. He has been inconsistent again throughout this season (but then so have a lot of them) and made one or two real howlers. Our squad certainly needs a revamp. The old reliables are getting older and their 'replacements' haven't really set the world on fire. If Ancelotti stays I can't see there being too many changes but a new manager would probably want some assurances about being able to bring in his own players.

it'll be a shame if ancelotti is sacked as i like him but abramovich is ruthless and will no doubt carry on his real madrid-esque obsession with the european cup and replace him with someone like didier deschamps IMO

Think he'll buy Hiddink out of his contract, but the managerial merry-go-round and his dabbling in squad recruitments hasn't improved on the Mourinho years. He should buy himself a copy of Championship Manager and leave the rest to the manager.

i don't think hiddink would break his word of fulfilling every contract! i bet as a kid, abramovich bought a panini 'football '86' sticker album and proceeded to buy hundreds of boxes of stickers, filling the album within days, such is his impatience! chelsea would have won the european cup by now if he just left the manager to it and kept out of transfer dealing IMO
