Clues - Quality Steet, Womb and Swarfega

Is it a woman who fought for equal rights and open doors for women, e.g. Florence Nightingale and Emmeline Pankhurst, both of whom have been portrayed several times on screen? Or another such.

The clues refer to a famous sketch that mentions the character but allegedly this lady was a pretty poor hostess of parties.

Supposedly the only rights she was interested in were her family's

It should, but that flashlight-clue sans batteries doesn't help on my blind path.

It is Lady macbeth- My crappy clues which seem to have confused everyone were to a favourite victoria Wood sketch

"Did you go and see Macbeth? Uh! It wasn't a patch on Brigadoon.some woman rubbing her hands saying she can't get them clean . I felt like shouting out, "Try Swarfega!"

" Mm. I said to Col, "Get your duffel! £2 on a box of Quality Street and someone says womb."

It is Jimmy Hoffa, cant find Brian Dennehy having played him on IMDB, but Jack Nicholson bio-piced him.

And Tom Bosely [Mr Cunningham in Happy Days] played him in The Jesse Owens Story...obviously

well, since he hasn't played him maybe dennehy should have played him as they look alike! I'm sure i've seen a US tv movie about hoffa but can't remember who was the lead actor?

Sorry about my recent spate of 'goal-hanging' but i'm unable to post pics until i get my PC sorted out so feel free to step in anybody!
