Could very well be. I won't stop you from pursuing that... I put in a clue that I hoped someone would pick up.

The man was involved in the making of one of my top ten favourite films, not just from the '60s but from all times.

    Hi, Moon,

You are in the right country and field but Coutard didn't work with Sam Shepard or Jennifer Lopez., not that they are major in the career of our Mystery Man.

Mystery man was born a little later and did not work with Godard, or if he did it was minimal.
One of my top-ten films that he worked on also has several of my favourite actors who were superb in the serious drama and very well-known. You know them well.

Well I've heard of him! Seriously, the man is very well known in his field. I was rather perverse in choosing a high-profile actor with a lengthy
list of credits that might take an hour or so to go through!

YES!!!! Bravo, Moon. I was sure you'd get it. Army of Shadows is a superb film as is Lhomme's cinematography in Camille Claudel and Cyrano.

    Best,

    Barbara

    Hi, Harby, also Captain,

Pierre Lhomme never worked with Dirk, which was a shame. They would have made a great team.

    Best,

    Barbara
