80s Welsh Valleys comedy set around a hotel which double books 2 functions, one for the twin town society, hosting their German counterparts, whilst in another room the local rugby club have their annual fancy dress party, the theme is war. Farcical high jinks follow with nazi officers and Kamakazee pilots upsetting the German dignatories.

Please tell me the name of this histerically funny film, I must find it and watch it again.

It is definately `Sticky Wickets' a BBC play from 1990 with James Bolam, Alun Armstrong and George Sewell. It is set at the local cricket club dinner and is very funny. I recorded it on VHS at the time but the recording has suffered with age and is now poor quality. Hopefully it will be shown again one day somewhere.
