Not sure where to post such question, but could someone please tell me whether the restored dvd edition of "The Prisoner" (40th Anniversary Special Edition (7 discs) from Network) is on dual-layer dvds (DVD-9) or single-layer (DVD-5)? Couldn't find any specs in the internet. Thank you.

They are Dual Layer but the Blu-ray edition is the way to go.

It seems the UK Bluray set no longer comes packaged in a box with a book. I've had this on order from amazon.uk for a while but something in the order must be holding up the entire batch, and just yesterday I noticed the picture on amazon had changed and a reviewer commented that his came sans box and book. So I cancelled my order and will get the slightly cheaper US box instead.
