I wonder if anyone can help me?

In the late 90's, Channel 4, (I think!) showed 3 different television documentary films, and I am hoping to trace the titles of each seperate one, or if they were in a series, the title of the series. I thought it might be "Dispatches" or "Cutting Edge", but I looked these up on the IMDB and can't find anything.

The first was about Jack the Ripper and was filmed in Whitechapel.

The second was about a plot concerning Henry VIII and the King of Spain to do with Catholicism.

And the third was about two young girls who died of carbon monoxide poisoning from a faulty gas boiler in a flat or hotel room.

There was film of the events, then they kept cutting to a modern day narrator, and back again.

Not much information, I know, but anything would help.

    Thanks.

Hi 1stas. There was a great Jack the Ripper documentary in the 90's on Channel 4 called 'The Whitechapel Murders' as part of the Secret history Season. I looked up the year and it was 1996. There was also an ITV documentary called 'To kill and kill again' but that was 2001. As for the Carbon Monoxide documentary, that does ring a bell but not sure if that was part of the Secret History set. Hope this helps.

Brilliant - it's all coming back to me! "Secret History" was the name of the series in which these three documentaries featured.

    Thanks a million, Bates!
