Stars Richard Todd but no Eleanor Summerfield.
Odongo (1956) is apparently a Technicolor 'African Wildlife Adventure' with Eleanor Summerfield but I don't think there's any murdering in it or Richard Todd!
The only thing I could think of was HOUSE OF THE LIVING DEAD (1971) but it stars neither of them! Although Mark Burns does look a little Todd-esque in the right light and costume.

They're both in "Don't Bother To Knock" (1961) - haven't seen it so I can't comment on the tropical location.
Haven't seen it either, but it's a sex farce so don't think that's it.
The Naked Earth (1958)? That had Todd in it, but it was in black and white and 'Scope . I don't know if Eleanor Summerfield was in it, though. Best to check on the IMDb.
