Joe Pasquale ? But please don't have a remake, the original was bad enough.

That wasn't a crack, I am serious. The energy, the gurning and the rabbit caught in the headlights look are perfect for Frank Spencer. His 'Dr Who' often reminded me of Frank ... 'Ooh Donna, that Dalek's done a whoopsy in my Tardis'. He'd be perfect!

If I could airbrush out of TV history only one sitcom, "Some Mothers Do 'Ave 'Em" would be a strong front runner. But to answer the question, casting a modern day Frank Spencer always brings me back to the same name....

    Lee Evans.

I really hope it's not a possibilty I could n't stand Some Mothers, I have a very high resistance to slapstick and an even higher resistance to Mr Crawford ( at least he did n't "sing" in Some Mothers).

Seconded, Lee Evans would do the part justice.
