Elizabeth Taylor to wed for the ninth time

Elizabeth Taylor may be ready to tie the knot again, this time with talent manager Jason Winters, Us Magazine reports.
The two, who've been romantically linked for several years, are decades apart in age -- she's 78, he's 49 -- but according to an Us source "they've been together forever and are in love." Winters, co-founder of Sterling/Winters Co., is Janet Jackson's new manager, the magazine says.
This would be "I do" No. 9 for the actress, famously married to and divorced from Conrad Hilton, Michael Wilding, Eddie Fisher, Richard Burton, Richard Burton again, Sen. John Warner and Larry Fortensky. Taylor split from Fortensky in 1996. And she was widowed in 1958 when husband Mike Todd died in a plane crash.

A mere 29 years - pah! Nothing compared to Percy and Joan Collins, who are 35 years apart. Joan's comment when asked about the age difference was "If he dies, he dies." Very funny, but she nicked this from someone else (can't remember who).
I suspect these men are just "walkers" in disguise, but the old broads are happy and presumably they are happy with the old broads' fame and wealth, so who cares.

the old broads' fame and wealth...
Do you think the money has anything to do with it? So cynical, these times we live in.
According to a Radio 4 programme a few weeks ago, the "If she dies, she dies" quote was from Catalan cellist Pau Casals, when warned by his doctor at his wedding to an extremely young bride that 'relations' may prove dangerous at 'that age'.
Good luck to them both!
Love, having no time limit, knows no age.

Well, I guess in Elizabeth's world, the word "forever" is relative, kind of like, "till death do us part," etc.
He's two years older than me, that puts it into a personal perspective for me lol.

That reminds me of her quote when she married her first husband Nicky Hilton.
This will last forever, we have so much in common, we both love hamburgers with onions, oversized sweaters, and Pinza, (thats Ezio) !
Now that is what I call a solid foundation for a long and happy marriage!![]()
