Just wondered if anyone had any episodes of "Romany Jones" starring Arthur Mullard and Queenie Watts. Seems strange that Network have released both series of it's sequel "Yus My Dear" but not the first series.

I'd like to see this for Queenie Watts-must have been a long time ago? (the series).

Circa 1973 I think, I loved Queenie as well, I recall her as a neighbour in Beryl's lot also, she and Arthur Mullard made a great husband and wife team, even in the non related 'Holiday on the Buses' film, though the Play for today 'Waterloo sunset' was a bit sad (most of them were)

I have resisted buying these series so far, not remembering them very well, I'm not sure if I'd enjoy them. But although possibly being the worst actor of all time, do I like Arthur Mullard? YUS!

Same here, just being and playing himself made up for his lack of acting prowess, a loveable, laugh a minute cockney..

I remember 'Yus My Dear' but not 'Romany Jones'. I've ploughed my way through Romany series 1 and it's rather hard work. 'Yus My Dear' is a little easier because, I think, they had more scope with it. Romany is, by definition of the basic premise, quite confined. This being said, the 'On The Buses' sequel 'Don't Drink The Water' is head and shoulders above both for awfulness...

At the moment Romany series 2 stands on the shelf awaiting the plucking up of lots of courage to 'go again'.
