This has been bugging me for yeeeeaaaars, I cannot tell you!

A boy goes on holiday with his parents, during which time he happily dances in the rain with them. However, he's upset because he had to leave his pet rabbit at home with nobody to look after it, and it will surely die.

But the kind little girl who lives next door lowers down lettuce leaves and a red balloon which pops on something to release water for the rabbit to drink.

When the little boy comes home he naturally expects the rabbit to be dead, and is overjoyed when he finds it alive.

I am 99% sure I haven't dreamt this up. If I have, I worry about myself...

I hope somebody out there knows it, I would be very very grateful, because it's driving me mad with Internet searches...!

I am not surprised you cannot find it as it would have been easier to ask the girl to pop next door to feed the rabbit than bother with balloons and contraptions.

Yea, that's what I thought. But she was only about eight I think...

    I'm sure it's a real movie...
