Could it be Seance on a Wet Afternoon?

One that I saw many years ago, I'd guess it was from the late fifties.
Plot surrounded a couple kidnapping a child. The woman made a couple of calls from a phone box putting on a man's voice. The giveaway for you buffs (and I must say you've been great so far) is gives herself away with the line 'and everything will be fine and dandy'.
Thanks.

Thanks but no. A similar mood to it though.

I think Richard Attenborough made the phone call anyway and not Kim Stanley.
Is your film British? There are a few from that era about child abduction but none seem to quite fit. I could only see this from The Scales of Justice series where the kidnappers are a couple - these links give the plot and cast:

Again no, but thanks for your resiliance. My memory on it is it wasn't as pshycological as these films. I'm sure the child was old enough to put two and two together over the voice.
Another thing I recall (which might not help) is something about milk being delivered. But as I said the key was the woman using the phrase 'fine and dandy'.
