    They do like an old house in a studio complex. Pinewood, Bray, Shepperton even Selznick's studio in Hollywood.

    That seemed to be the trend, years ago, building studios around old sold off victorian mansions. Hammer, before they settled into Bray, rented big homes or hotels and, like Cookham Dean and Oakley Court, transformed the property itself into a mini-studio and used the grounds as a back-lot.

    Nowadays it seems some old airports become studios.
