    Hi All

I'm sure you will get this straight away! I am trying to remember a TV show that was on in the 80s on the BBC I think. All I can remember is that there were a group of strange people who lived on a farm. There was a guy or girl who used to travel everywhere on a large ball! I'm sure it was made in the UK.

That's all I remember, any ideas?

    Many thanks

    Mad.

If Capt Waggett doesn't know it then it doesn't exist. Thumbs up to you Cappy, you're a walking film encyclopedia.

Are you suggesting Family Battles doesn't exist?

Was it done to try & trick poor old Cappy or is this really a movie that no-one can answer?

I don't know what was going on. It's the Twilight Zone thread on Britmovie. It is the type of movie the Captain would have a special interest in because of the alleged star and period it was made. Then suddenly the questioner pulls out an email from an office friend who has knowledge about a mysterious movie that is not in the imdb or anywhere else on the internet, nobody on a site with people with encyclopedic knowledge about obscure British movies ever heard of, and no evidence the author or the book the phantom movie is based on ever existed. If it is a hoax, it is a pretty frigging elaborate one.

I guess we'll just have to file it under "secret men's business" & move on.
