    Just started watching this dreadful flick - can anyone guess how much is new footage and how much recycled (mainly from The Four Feathers. It is absysmal

    The first 10 minutes of this film are, as you say, abysmal - stock footage from other films, poor process shots - I presume it played on the lower half of a double bill with SEIGE OF THE SAXONS...

    Actually, Seige of the Saxons was originally released as the support to Jason and The Argonauts, while East of Sudan went out as the support to First Men In The Moon (1964).

    If you stuck with it until the end ,did you notice the stock travelogue footage which clearly shows a crowd of modern(1950's-60's) tourists in the audience for the native dancing sequence-hilarious.
