Would anyone by chance happen to own any of the following? if so, let me know. I'm particularly interested in the ones in bold, but the others sound interesting also.

    Space Station Milton Keynes (1984)

    The Vision (1987)

    Burn Your Phone (1996)

    The Unknown Soldier (1985)

    The Russian Soldier (1986)

    Small Zones (1990)

    Children Crossing (1990)

    Dreaming (1991)

    Midnight Movie (1993)

In 1992 the BBC broadcast some Screen Two productions in a season called 'Continental Drift'.

If anyone has this Business With Friends, or any other titles from that season, please get in touch.

Loads of titles (mostly TV drama) to trade

    Thank you for looking

A big favour, does anyone have a copy of this one off WW2 drama from 1990. I have foolishly snaped a friends vhs copy, that'll teach me.

So a DVD copy would be great.

I unfortunately do not have anything to trade, but am happy to cover your costs

    thanks ib advance lester

    Hi lester,

This is a bit fidly but you could try opening up the tape and carefully sellotaping the film together.

Other members I'm sure will come up with better methods

but this has worked for me a couple of times.

Obviously you'll lose the segment that snapped but better than nothing.

    Hope this helps.

    Remy

Two acclaimed examples are available on DVD (from amazon.co.uk) as Dutch imports (Region 2) and US imports (Region 1):

THE LOST LANGUAGE OF CRANES (1991): a young man comes to terms with his sexuality

PRIEST (1995): a gay Catholic priest is appointed to a working-class Liverpool parish where he encounters prejudice, abuse and hypocrisy (BFI database)

Are any other Screen Two productions available on commercial DVD ?

The BBC has failed to repeat memorable dramas: 140 from January 1985 to December 1997, including LENT (1985) and ANGEL VOICES (1989).

    Hotel Du Lac here

    East of Ipswich here

    Truly, Madly, Deeply here

There may be more that have been released on DVD but this is all AFAIK.

The following have had a VHS release:

    Utz here

    After Pilkington here

A number of years ago BBC Four repeated Lucky Sunil, again, I'm sure there have been others.

The Insurance Man is on the Alan Bennett at the BBC set, as is 102 Boulevard Haussmann.

Northanger Abbey has been released in an Austen set.

Return of the Native had a VHS release, not sure about DVD.

I'm surprised there are so many Screen Two productions anyway - I'm sure I watched most of them at the time.
