Hi. I remember watching a drama in which a man tries to kill his wife by throwing her body into a lake all tied up but somehow murders his mistress instead. I remember it being quite creepy and could have been part of the tales of the unexpected series or similar. Any help appreciated.
DIAGNOSIS MURDER, the 1975 TV film with Christopher Lee, Jon Finch and Judy Geeson. IIRC this was made by HTV Television's film subsidiary with an intention for a cinema release (which it might have had on a limited scale) but was put out as a (slightly truncated?) TV movie in most areas.

Thanks for this Rose, I haven't come across that episode, but am intrigued over its similarity to Diagnosis Murder. Looks like I'll have to buy another volume of ToTE!
