To think it was going to be called Scrambled Eggs . A beautiful song, wrongly credited to Lennon and MCCartney, whereas it was only written by Paul McCartney,as a tribute to his mother;"Why she had to go,I don't know she wouldn't say."

Not "wrongly"!!! It isn't a mistake...

All of John and Paul's songs during their partnership were credited as joint efforts - when in fact most of them are not. It was an agreement between them.

Even Give Peace a Chance - a solo Lennon release - is credited to Lennon and McCartney (reputedly in appreciation of Paul's help on the recording of The Ballad of John and Yoko - John's Beatle track again credited to L&M!)

    Hi,

I remember reading that there was a song in which only one Beatle would appear on record. Paul, I believe, seemed excited about it. It was claimed to sound 18th centurish. The odd thing is, it does. It is not in keeping with what was associated at the time in the sixties, and yet it does click. It still stands out. Perhaps good music lasts irrespective of style decade or century or trends.
