This is a subject I have been interested in since watching the excellent Kennedy starring Martin Sheen as JFK. I have always joked that I was born in September 1962 and World War III nearly broke out the following month (no connection). It is a film I am keen to watch one day.

Much of the dialogue is taken verbatim from Kennedy's actual audio recordings of his meetings. (A recording system that would become problematic for Richard Nixon.)

Keven Costner's role is overblown, but the two actors playing the Kennedy brothers are terrific.

An excellent film, well worth your time.

Bruce Greenwood and Steve Culp played the Kennedys - and I agree, they were fab. Even Kevin Costner was better than usual in 13 Days (I usually find him a bit flat). Bruce Greenwood to me will always be Captain Pike off the new Star Trek movie. Steve Culp was in Enterprise. (Good Lord, I need to get out more. )

Actually, an entire thread could be done on which actors made the best Kennedy. I think Linus Roache was my favourite Bobby and Cliff Robertson as JFK. As I recall Martin Sheen has played both brothers, but I may be wrong there.

Hi Marky, it's available from play.com for £2.99, I enjoy this film also, the DVD has some extra scenes inserted, it's longer than the version seen in the Cinema, love the old cars, particularly the Lincoln with the reverse-rake rear window, it inspired the Ford Anglia, the window never steamed up.
