Glynis. Have a great day.

Before Glynis started working on soaps like Emmerdale and Eastenders she used to appear in some very good TV serials. She was Makepeace in Dempsey And Makepeace and Soolin in Blake's Seven. She also played Jane, taking over the role from Suzanne Danielle in the newspaper cartoon strip of the same name made into a TV series. Glynis had also made appearences in Trial And Retribution, Tales Of The Unexpected, A Fine Romance, New Tricks, Red Dwarf, Diagnosis Murder and Agatha Christie's Miss Marple.
In films she has appeared in Deja Vu, The Hound Of The Baskervilles, The Wicked Lady and Terror.

Jim, just for you.
As Makepeace.
With her two TV daughters in Eastenders.

Although I got a phonecall five minutes into 'New Tricks' last night and missed it, I did spot Glynis there.
Truly a classy lady.
Although not so classy in 'Deadenders'...........I can't help but think she is hugely enjoying playing a scheming sorry excuse for a mother, luring married men into her bed.![]()
She's always been a classy lady. A good actress blessed with stunning looks as well.
I have to say that I've enjoyed watching Ms Barber on Eastenders, and I for one hope that the powers that be have the good sense to bring her back in the not so distant future. But I do however wonder how the character of "Glenda" would have developed if Jill Gascoigne ramained in the role, and I guess also had Barbara Windsor stayed on as Peggy????
But I will also add, she is one mighty fine looking woman....Michael Brandon your one lucky man!!!!Lol
Glynis and Michael Brandon were both in Friday's New Tricks episode although not in the same scenes.
I loved Glynis in Jane and Jane in the Desert.
Emma
I saw her in The Graduate a few years back, and very good she was too. She retained her modesty!
I've watched Blake's Seven again, recently. Even though the character is written in invisible ink, Glynis really gets stuck in there. She's quite a woman, although she has become a bit of a soap fetishist lately. (Leaving EastEnders soon).
Many happy returns Glynis
