Thanks for that FG, I noticed that after I posted. Since there were no mobile phones in those days, I believe someone has manipulated the picture BUT since it's available at all good DVD shops, it's up to us to decide. XX

It is not a time traveller, but space traveller. Read her lips. She is saying,"Beam me up, Scottie." Okay, space and time traveller.

    Indeed it is.

The youtube video is really just a shameless promotion for George Clarke and his production company, but has become a big hit with internet loonies.

thought so! then again, another explanation could be that the old woman is holding jiminy cricket to her ear in order to hear his tiny voice?

Why is she talking into it? Of course she could be slightly deaf and nuts. Before mobile phones, lots of people walked around talking to themselves and maybe they still are and use the cell phones as cover.

Read the old lady's lips. Her language is appalling!

Who would have thought a time traveller would be a little old lady?

Time travellers always disguise themselves as old ladies....

It seems to work every time...

A lot of people still do. Have you never seen a "traffic shouter"?

This guy needs to get a grip. It's an old woman with something in her hand (probably a purse), talking to *gasp* the people operating the camera. Maybe she didn't want to be filmed, was trying to hide her face and was telling them off? Seems a tad more plausable than time traveller, n'est pas?

She's most likely using one of these:

the example narabdela offers seems more likely IMO as i don't imagine old ladies to be gadget freaks in the 1920s!
