Odd thing about Nixon - and most US presidents for that matter (although not GWBush) - is that no matter how they are hated or ridiculed when in office, they are often later held in some sort of admiration. Nixon's visit to China seemed to all but cancel out his disgrace over Watergate although it is still the scandal that defines him.
Good film, though, with convincing performances from both leads - and 'that' moment is still pretty remarkable, particularly as it actually happened.
