That is basically just the princess animated films. With the exception of Beauty and the Beast, you have an evil woman opposing the central good girl.
I am doing a research project for film studies, on the representation of women in disney. And for this I have to do some primary research, so i thought id see what other people thought.
Please help!
Thank you :)

I think you have to give us a bit more to go on Big Mac. What kind of things are you looking for? Are you looking across the whole Disney output, animated and live action, classics and the newer films? It sounds like you're looking for strong examples of both 'good' and 'bad' girls but it would be interesting to know your focus. After all you could include the Siamese cats in Lady in the Tramp as 'bad' if you're casting the net wide enough!
In the Three Lives of Thomasina, Susan Hampshire played a good *witch*..........

HI, thanks for the response :)
I am planning to look at snow white, sleeping beauty and mulan.
So any info on these films would be much appreciated.
Thanks
I didn't see Mulan, but SW and SB are very similar stories with similar types. Both have princesses put to sleep by evil women with magic. In both cases it isn't the princess who gets out of her own predicament, but is rescued by a prince. Mula being more contemporary has the princress as her own hero I think.
Beware !! ... some could have double personalities
