It took me a long time to realize why brass bands compliment brussel sprouts so well.

Oi .... you leave the psychopaths alone .... without them I'd be out of work.

Psychopathy is one of the few growth industries left in this country (private and public sector) . They also contribute to the culling of the great unwashed, therefore possibly easing the benefit burden on the taxpayer. Just examine the figures ..... one psychopath in a secure hospital costs the taxpayer approx 1500 per week. His victims, possibly on benefits (average quantity - 3), could cost the taxpayer approx 800 per week each. That's a possible saving of 900 per week.

Who said the lunatics were running the asylum?

I quite agree, dear fellow! You'll notice my post was expressing antipathy towards the b*******s who wished to deny the psychopaths their human rights - not the psychopaths themselves. I'm all for them.

Sorry Graeme .... I misread your post. Top man! We need more people like you if we're to get this country back on it's feet ..... more power to the psychopaths!

Im sure there are no hard feelings Mark, this thread is all good fun and any thread that develops from student protest on University fees to vegetables that look like genitalia ..... has all got to be taken in the lightest possible way.

Deffo no hard feelings - as Brucie once said when he accidently copped a feel of Bette Midler's bum on the talk show bit of his Big Night Out one memorable time!

Merry Chrimbo and a gear New Year to you as well. You know I'd miss you if you didn't post in you very own inimitable manner!

    Happy Christmas to everybody!

You know, I've always reckoned Simon's mum must have been "frightened" by Tony Benn when she was carrying him...

I won't have you dissing Simon's mum Years ago I was on a demo in his constituency and got chatting to her (and his sister). Because I was young(ish) and idealistic back then, I ended up spending the night on the streets in a terribly important radical cause, and Mrs H turned up in the moerning with breakfast for me
