Probably because it is difficult to search for it under either this title or its alternate 'X, Y and Zee'. I'm sure there are some posts somewhere!

The IMdB shows a dozen AKA's for Zee & Co. The director Brian G. Hutton (who also directed Clint Eastwood in Where Eagles Dare and Kelly's Hero's) left the film industry in the mid 80's and became a plummer.

The script of the film by Edna O'Brien was published in paperback a few decades ago.

Can anyone tell me why the original performance of the song 'Going In Circles' by Three Dog Night, that played over the end credits, has been replaced with another version of the song on the DVD? This version is piano-based, as opposed to the the organ-led original, and I suspect that Rick Wakeman, who composed some of the film's music, may be the pianist. It certainly sounds like his style of playing.

When that happens it's usually because the original performers wouldn't or couldn't give permission for their work to be included on the DVD. If their original contract only specified the film they would have to arrange a new contract for the DVD release. If the original performer doesn't want to do that, or if the band has subsequently broken up, then it may be replaced with another piece.
