I agree. It's also good to see that Scottish actor doing something other than "guid with fuid"!
Anyone else enjoying this? It's a good little thriller, with nice performances. Trevor Eve is (with obvious effort) reigning himself in and cow-towing to his boss, played by Helen Baxendale and Emma Fielding is extremely good. I'm hooked!

Yes it is good, I am especially pleased that John Hannah is in it now, he`s one of my favorites.
Anyone know how many episodes there are going to be?
xx
It's a three parter FG... but I saw Trevor Eve on breakfast TV last week and he said if it's sufficiently well received there'll be more.
BBC News - Actor Trevor Eve on Kidnap and Ransom
Thanks Tonch. Yes, I did wonder if they would carry on with different stories if this one hit the viewing figures. I think they would have to really spend time developing characters if they did that though, i.e Trevor Eve`s family and his relationship with the Helen Baxendale chararcter too.
What a great three episodes this programe presented. I hope we see more from Dominic King[Trevor Eve] I was on the edge of my seat for the whole 60 minutes.![]()
John Hannah is developing a nice line in playing total bastards.
He was one of the best things about "Spartacus: Blood & Sand", playing Battiatus - the ruthless, social climbing, gladiator school owner (imagine a sort of homicidal Brian Clough). It's interesting that the producers have brought his character back for the prequel series 2 - they might have been in trouble if they hadn't.
