Optimum in June will be releasing Java Head and Tiger Bay as a double bill. Jave Head features a young Sir Ralph Richardson and Tiger Bay I've never seen.

Both have been available from suppliers in the states so i have both.She is really one of the great actresses of the 30s who sadly was rather limited in the roles she was offered.Tiger Bay was shown at the NFT a couple of years gao and it is an entertaing film.so if you havent got the titles i would recommend that you buy the set.

I very much agree, Orpheum. Anna May Wong was cast in stereotypical, limiting roles in Hollywood because of racism at the time. She and Josephine Baker as well as other minority creative artists tended to fare better in Europe.

Wonderful to see both films released. So far, there is no U.S. release.
