Trying to remember the name of an American series shown on BBC1 in the 80's. it was about a mysterious train that left from a secret platform in a major station(either Grand Central or LA) . I think it travelled in time, though I could be wrong. Thought it was called Time Train, but can't find anything on IMDB under that name only railway timetables!

    Any ideas guys?

I remember that! It was a bit of a cross between the Time Tunnel and Fantasy Island. Not many episodes.

There was Supertrain - but I don't think that's it...

Could be Time Express with Vincent Price?

That sounds like it! Only 4 episodes... seemed like more and how could I completely forget that Vincent Price was in it!

I think there were two stories per episode which have made it seem longer - there is a rather ropy clip here:

Thanks E. (and Graeme) and nice to see even a ropy clip, somehow I don't think we'll be seeing a DVD release anytime soon.
