    Yes, they are playing on Spielberg's name for it even though he's only an executive producer (a money man). It's not a great story, a poor version of War of the Worlds crossed with Battlestar Galactia with a bit more religion thrown in. The special effects aren't great and the monsters are silly, especially those two legged "Mechs". They'd be so easy to trip up but nobody seems to have realised that yet.

    The best hope for saving humanity seems to be a college lecturer in history
