Has anyone been watching this on Yesterday? I've had to watch it on Freeview on a new TV. The print seems to be very rough to me but that could be because I've not sorted the settings yet.

I have watched a few of these and it is very good. The print is a bit patchy at times, but overall I think it's not too bad.

I keep forgetting this is on!
Tony Head was in a couple of episodes (it was his first TV role) and his mother, Helen Shingler, was in 10 episodes.

I have been watching this series on the Yesterday channel and have been enjoying it immensely, i have watched every episode that has been shown so far, many well known guest stars have appeared in the series including Ray Smith, Terrence Hardiman, Joss Ackland and John Nettles (playing a detective), episode one of series two was shown today, i think when the series has finished on the Yesterday channel i will definitely be buying the series on DVD, Simon Cadell does play a horrible Nazi in the series.

Agreed that this has been an excellent series to date - if Colditz gets a 10, then Enemy at The Door gets a 9. Nice to see Germans not all characterised as monsters.

After watching today, which seemed better...........How likely is it that what Batman describes as a "bit patchy" will be what turns up on the print available (at a very reasonable price) on the complete set dvd from base.com?

A superb series, along with 'Shine on Harvey Moon' and 'Colditz'. It really upsets me to see such wonderful creative productions no longer being made with such quality. With all the technicals equipment available today you'd think we would see a lot more, unfortunately a dying art. Congrats to the Yesterday channel for reviving them so a whole new generation can get the chance to see them.
