Can you tell us anything about the setting? Was it a period comedy in costume?
Hi everyone, just new to this site and I hope you can help me. For the past few years I have been trying to remember the name of a British comedy from the late 60s to early 70s.
A young man pretends to be very camp, so his father keeps sending him beautiful women (who he has tried out first) to convert him. The young man is actually straight and gives the women presents, eg. priceless paintings, so they won't let his father know.
I thought the film was called Zoot, but I may have mistaken it with Joe Orton's Loot.
Thanks in advance.
