This delightful Cotswold village was used as the location for The Tawny Pipit (1944) and Our Mutual Friend (BBC 1998):-
BBC News - Cotswolds street voted 'most romantic' in Britain

The village has retained much of its charm, as have the nearby Rissington villages.

Lower Slaughter well deserves this title, along with many places in England that haven't been in film locations. We live in a most beautiful and romantic land.
