I wouldn't mind a copy....but it does seem a bit expensive. Maybe in time?
Just wondering if any members had bought this, expensive, release from Network and if so what their thoughts are ?

LOL The VAT increase has tipped a lot of Network's sets over the edge price wise...quite often it makes you think twice about buying something, particularly something 'on spec'. The Bank Holiday sale was mightily disappointing - let's hope that a summer sale rolls around soon...

There are several 'exclusives' I'd like but most of the prices are just way over the top now.

Hmmm - I wonder how 'exclusive' all of this will actually be? Are these titles never intended to hit the likes of Amazon (etc.) in the future? That's a considerable consumer base to cut out. Or maybe Network now know that the niche market can provide a decent return with the appropriate stimulus...
They are only saying that they cannot guarantee their availability post cut-off date.

I think they are a niche market, series like Villians, Hanged Man, etc., and if they don't hit the right market and get a good return we wouild not ever see these series at all. Network do a very good job. Even with all the Sat Stations the chance of seeing the black and white episodes are next to none. If you want to see these old series remastered you will have to pay or carry on watching old tape to disc pirate transfers.
