Hello
I have been trying to find the name of a TV series and need some help.
I think it was shown during the mid/late 90's
It was about a fairly petty UK gangland boss.
I think it was set sometime during the 1960's
I thought the title was something like "The Firm" but Google returns nothing by that name that I recognise.
It did have a memorable line, spoken by this gangland boss.
In the final episode he gets sent down for something like 18 years, and when asked if he has anything to say, he says, "Thank you very much".
One of the characters was a homosexual politician I seem to remember.
Part of the plot involves this boss investing his money in Africa, but it all goes wrong for him.
I hope this is enough to go on.
This has been bugging me for ages, I hope you can shed some light on this for me.
Thank you.
Richard
Spot on, thank you very much.
Richard
