I thoroughly enjoyed this trilogy (Tattoo , fire , and hornests nest ) by stieg Larsson ,and do wonder how much this will suffer by comparison.Having missed "The Killing " which was considered excellent by everybody who saw it (except me ) I have started recording the US version. I haven't started watching it yet and wonder whether it will spoil the original when I manage to track down a decent priced dvd .

The US version of The Killing has a different murderer and motive to the original, which is so good that I doubt you will be disappointed when you watch.

I've seen all 3 films in the series and now own them on Blu ray. They are brilliant and well worth watching.
