    The surviving episodes of Sid James follow up TV series to Hancock's Half Hour have a dvd release set for 6 Feb 2012. A bit of a wait but a must for Sid completists or surviving episode completists. Ay!

    I saw Galton and Simpson introduce an epsidoe of this at the NFT a couple of years ago - they seemed quite embarassed about it but it's not bad. Not Hancock-level but certainly of great 'historical interest'. The episode with Cecil Parker ('The Brand') is very good
