    Weavers Green… a soap from 1966 made by Anglia TV
    seems to have disappeared without trace!

    yet it starred Susan George and Kate O'Mara!!!
    there must be some stills or footage… somewhere???

    @goldenmeadow

    It so happens that Betty Lambda, (with her husband Peter Lambda, the creators and lead writers of Weavers Green) was a sometime neighbour of mine - something I didn't know until after she died , earlier this year. I

    have added some details to both Lambdas IMDB pages: Betty Paul and Peter Lambda and hope to add more "as and when" and encourage others with more knowledge than me to do so for both of them.

    If you do enough Searching on the internet you will find most of what you want to know about Weavers Green's current archive status, its actors, the reason it was pulled and pictures of Kate 0'Mara (including good quality colour

    publicity shots) but not, yet, AFAIK, any of Susan George (I watched many episodes of WG but, funny, I"m sure I would've remembered a teenage actor on it taking all her clothes off ).

    I seem to recall that much of the archive of Anglia television was deposited with the UEA (University of East Anglia), but I am not sure if this includes all therir drama productions.....
