The Chancellor of the Exchequer, George Osborne, aged 22, ex Eton and just down from Oxford University, with a vice girl and a stash of cocaine...

Apparently when Tony Blair was at his private school, the school would have a day where selected pupils would help the poor and destitute of Glasgow, when his turn came, he told them he would be glad to do it, but actually slinked off and spent the day in the pub.

That two faced, slime ball hypocrite was running the country for 10 years, and allowing other peoples' sons and daughters to be killed in an illegal war, while securing a place in the city for his and John Prescott's son..

Anthony Lytton Blair - a toff, riding to fame and untold riches on the backs of the mainly working class constituents of NE England....as most of these people will never consider voting for any party other than Labour (and seem to be flattered by his mere presence among them), it gives ample scope to political opportunists like BLiar !

I am not making a party political point here - the Tories and Lib Dems are just as bad....and it happens in ther countries as well- viz Barrack Obama....

If Osbourne was good at his job he could have all the coke he desires for all I care, but he's a shocking chancellor. (wimped out with the banks too)

What have Tony Blair's failings got to do with George Osborne's character?

George Osborne at the GQ Awards ceremony - Did he really say this off the record (following his 'sticky pages' comment)? :

'I have to confess that some of my best friends from Eton and Oxford are regular *ankers....Oops ! - I meant to say 'bankers'......'

Whatever his faults, Churchill was a great orator and lifted the morale of the troops during WW2. They adored him. No wonder the youth of today are disaffected and prone to lawlesslness. Who are their role models? They see politicians who are thieves, the media is corrupt - it'll be the police they start looking up to if this carries on....

Do you mean the police force who had senior officers fired (or some who resigned before they could be fired) for accepting bribes from journalists?

So after you've got rid of all the corrupt and greedy politicians (national and local), journalists, policemen and all the others, who is left?
Let the librarians run the country. They'll bring a bit of order to things

Don't insult the librarians or they'll line you up against the bookshelves and categorise you under the Dewey Decimal System
Talking of WAGS, the real expert at the wags are the librarians

.and in the morning I shall be sober, while you madam will still be ugly.

was what Winnie said after redoutable MP Bessie Braddock commented on his drunkeness at a dinner party, I dont think he was drunk all of the time, he wouldnt have been able to paint his interesting paintings if he were.
