I figured every episode would have songs cut to fit the time slot - do you know what was cut from the two editions broadcast last night?
The 10-part BBC2 series from 1991 is being shown all this week on the YeSTERDAY channel featuring pop music performances from shows like Crackerjack, Juke Box Jury, Dee Time, Pops With Lenny The Lion, The Mersey Sound, Blue Peter, Colour Me Pop, The Beat Room, Top Of The Pops, A Whole Scene Going, Monster Music Mash, Late Night Line-Up, The Look Of The Week, Twice A Fortnight, In Concert, How Late It Is, Pop Go The Sixties, All My Loving, How It Is, Omnibus and Whicker's World. The first episode (last night) had two songs cut from it (The Springfields and Craig Douglas so no big deal). It's nice to be able to replace my 20-year old VHS recordings with DVDR's of this week's rebroadcasts.

Cut from last night's two editions:-
Ep2 -
Herman's Hermits - Ain't That Just A Little Bit Better (1965)
Jonathan King - Everyone's Gone To The Moon (1967)
Ep 3 -
Brian Poole & The Tremeloes - Uncle Willy (1965)
The Pretty Things - Midnight To Six (1966)
No big losses so far then :-)
Thanks - I'm still not a big fan of edited editions ... and personally I would have opted for a single dose of Tom Jones rather than lose anyone else. I think some edits were made even when these were repeated on BBC4 though, again for reasons of time.
The Brian Poole song isn't that bad, if memory serves ...
