Sad day for the entertainment world. Lovely Betty Drver, what a career.
How sad, I loved Betty, and she was one of the few reasons that I still watched Corrie, she will be very much missed!
RIP Betty!![]()
A very sad loss. She used to own a pub near to me. I never met her. A great actress.

Very sad news indeed.
R.I.P. Betty Driver.
Betty Turpin/Williams was one of Coronation Streets most loved characters, Coronation Street is the only Soap Opera that i watch and Bettys character will be much missed.
Betty Driver was a very good age, i hope she will now be pulling pints for all the other Coronation Street stars who are also sadly no longer with us.

I used to live in the next village to her years ago, remember seeing her in her car once. She ran a pub there years ago too.
One of my favourites from Corrie, she will be greatly missed.
R.I.P. Betty.
RIP Betty, let's hope her other films now come out on DVD.
Sad day - RIP Miss Driver and Betty's hotpot.
