Harry Lauder approved of Greer Garson impression

I have often wondered how an elderly Sir Harry Lauder felt about Greer Garson's brilliant impression of him in Random Harvest, given she wore a mini-kilt and high heeled shoes and was rather sexy. Well I found an interview with Greer, who said he was apparently delighted saying Yeh must you see a wee lassie, she does a picture, she does an impression of me better than I do myself

Greer, who has Scottish blood in her said she knew how to do Lauder's voice for the film. When young she and her family would sing Lauder songs round a piano
